What did ultrasound do for me?
My name is Tim Guild and I am a small animal vet in Michigan. I started practice over 10 years ago and felt a lack of confidence with certain cases. As I was a small animal vet, when I had a dog or cat with an emergency or internal problem I needed HELP.
I started learning ultrasound to fill in the gaps I was finding with my cases. First, I focused on the simple things like the bladder. I attended a class where a specialist helped guide me.
After training and focusing on ultrasound I became addicted to the information it would supply my patients. In some cases, it became more important than radiographs because my confidence had grown
